Hi! I’m Artur Bagdasaryan, a 1st year M.Div. student at Westminster Theological Seminary. I studied Chemistry as an undergraduate, and Business Administration (MBA) in graduate school. That led me to complete my first 2 actuarial examinations, and then to work in investments and wealth management.
Now, I’m pursuing an M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary, and plan to be in full-time ministry.
The purpose of this site is to be an outlet for my writing endeavors. Writing helps to bring order, clarity, meaning, and gravity to our thoughts. Most of my posts will come from what I’m reading and learning. I pray and hope that they will be an encouragement to the fainthearted, a rebuke to the idle, and a help to the weak (1 Thessalonians 5:14) so that we may all attain the full assurance of hope until the end (Hebrews 6:14) ‒ an assurance grounded in the person and work of Jesus Christ.
About me as a person:
I enjoy reading, writing, biking, all things sports, good music, and a nice, competitive game of chess and Settlers of Catan. I particularly love reading historical theology and classical literature, all the while listening to Blues rock.
About my theological views:
I subscribe to the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith. (You can read that here). But, if you’d like a quick run-down: I’m covenantal, Reformed Baptist, and post-millenial.
